Affirmed Lane won two races as a two-year-old and is by the American Triple Crown winning sire, Affirmed. Her one foal to race is the talented grey Danehill filly J'Adane. Trained at Pukekohe by Russell Cameron, her race record currently boasts a second to Tuesday Joy in the Group 2 VRC Wakeful Stakes, a creditable eighth to Miss Finland in the Group 1 VRC Oaks and a second in New Zealand's richest race, the Group 1 Kelt Capital Stakes.

In 2006 Affirmed Lane produced a grey colt by Fastnet Rock, who has subsequently been named Affirmation. He sold for $700,000 at the 2008 Karaka Yearling Sales and is an exciting prospect after winning on only his 2nd raceday start. In 2007 she produced another grey colt, Polarity (by No excuse Needed) who sold for $210,000 and she has a yearling filly by Darci Brahma who will be retained by the stud.

Ajfan, second place getter in the Group I Ascot Fillies Mile and third place getter in the Group I One Thousand Guineas is the dam of stakes placed filly El Laoob (by Red Ransom) and colt Mutamayyaz (by Nureyev). Ajfan is from the family of successful sires including: Listed winner Clever Trick (by Icecapade) and Group I winner Alydeed (by Shadeed). Ajfan's 2004 O'Reilly colt has been a star of the Singapore racing scene this year. Known as Big Maverick, he won the first two legs of the Singapore Three-Year-Old Challenge and then finished third in the final leg. In 2006 she produced a colt by Tiger Hill, that sold to Hong Kong and she has a yearling filly by Lucky Unicorn that will be retained by the stud.

A half-sister to the Group 1 winner Lord Ted, Alpine is one of those valuable Zabeel mares which will undoubtedly carry on the influence of the champion NZ sire for many years to come.

Alpine is the dam of two foals to race, both winners, namely the Listed winner Vercors and the three race winner Huluava. She has a 2006 Spartacus colt, Wonderful Approach who sold at Karaka in 2008, and a yearling colt by Pins that will represent her at the 2010 Karaka Yearling Sales.

Anatomy represents the combination of the New Zealand Group I winning mare, Maurine, and the power of the Mr. Prospector Kentucky Derby winning sire sensation Thunder Gulch.

In 2004 Anatomy had winning racemare Concinnity by multiple Group I winning Danehill sire Rock of Gibraltar. And In 2005 she produced a colt by Nureyev’s speed sire son Stravinsky who is now called Left Standing who has had 3 wins to date in Australia. She has a 2 year old filly by Redoute's Choice, and a yearling colt by Darci Brahma.

This Listed placed Irish mare is out of the half-sister to Group I Irish Derby winner Balanchine (by Storm Bird). Annie Daly is a half sister to Group III winners Humble Eight (by Seattle Battle), April Starlight (by Storm Bird) and Thady Quill (by Nureyev).

Annie Daly produced a filly by Danehill who sold for $420,000 at the 2005 Karaka Premier Yearling Sale and has gone on to be a dual winner in Australia. In 2007 she produced a colt by Storming Home, who has been retained by the stud, and she currently has a colt foal at foot, by Commands.

Twice a Listed winner, including the Ballarat Cup, Battocchi’s first foal, a Woodman filly, was sold at the 2001 Karaka Premier Sale for $200,000. She now has six named foals including Bibulous (by Faltat) and Guiseppina (by Johar), who are both winning racehorses. She currently has a yearling colt, and a colt foal at foot, both by Darci Brahma.

A daughter of Group I Yorkshire Oaks second place getter Bineyah, Beyond the Sunset is a close relation to Champion American racehorse and sire Seattle Slew (by Bold Reasoning). She is also from the family of Group I Two Thousand Guineas winner and sire Lomond, dual Group II winner Seattle Dancer, Group II winner Desert Secret and Listed winner Argosy.

At the 2005 Karaka Premier Sale her first foal - a Danehill colt - sold for $1,050,000 to David Ellis and is now the Listed winner, Don Garcia and in 2004 she produced a colt by No Excuse Needed who sold for $500,000. In 2006 she produced a filly by Zabeel, who races for Pencarrow under the name Salkantay. She has a yearling filly by Darci Brahma who will also join the Pencarrow racing team.

Group III WRC Cuddle Stakes winner Cheerful is from the family of Group I AJC Australian Oaks winner La Souvronne (by Sovereign Edition). La Souvronne is the dam of five foals to race, all winners.

Cheerful has produced four horses to race, Ribarnica, Linlin, Uncle Peter and Ensolielle, all winners. She has an unraced three-year-old gelding by Rock of Gibraltar, and a yearling colt by Fastnet Rock who will be among the draft at the 2010 Karaka Yearling Sales. She currently has a colt foal at foot by Lucky Unicorn.

Group placed Chimeara, a full sister to the Group I winner Viking Ruler, comes from one of the best Australasian families with her dam Tristalove a Group I winner; her second dam Diamond Lover a Group I winner; and her third dam the champion mare Eight Carat.

By champion sire Danehill, Chimeara joined the Pencarrow broodmare band in 2001. Her first foal is Group 1 winner De Beers (by Quest For Fame), that sold for $750,000 at Karaka as a yearling. In 2005 she foaled a filly by Monjeu who was retained by the stud, and in 2008 she foaled another filly, by O'Reilly, who is also headed for the Pencarrow racing team. Chimeara currently has a colt foal by O'Reilly at foot.

This Group I NZ One Thousand Guineas winner and the winner of three other races at Group level, is the Dam of 10 foals.

Her 2003 Zabeel colt, named Bettws, is a stakes performer with the David Hayes stable and her 2005 colt by Giant's Causeway sold to Hong Kong for $250,000. Clear Rose has a yearling filly and a filly foal at foot, both by Darci Brahma, and both are destined for the Pencarrow racing team.

Out of Group I winning mare Tis Juliet, Dance My Dance's first foal was a Danehill filly sold at the 2005 Karaka Premier Yearling Sales for $575,000. From the family that includes Group I winner Stella Madrid (by Alydar) and Group II winner My Juliet (by Gallant Romeo).

Dance My Dance produced a colt by Van Nistelrooy in 2004, and a Tiger Hill filly in 2006 who has shown winning ways for the Pencarrow racing team, under the name Posavina. She also has a 2yr old filly by Stravinsky and a filly foal at foot by Holy Roman Emperor, who will both be retained by the stud.

By the legendary sire Danehill, Danehill Princess is from the Diesis mare, Latino l'Amour.

Her first foal, a colt by Lonhro, will be presented at the 2010 Karaka yearling sales, under Curraghmore Studs draft. She has a filly foal by Windsor Park Stud sire High Chaparral this year.

Darcybee is the second of Eminent Walk’s offspring to record black type, winning the Listed CJC Pegasus Stakes (1200m). Her half sister Tehama (Centaine) won the Listed CJC Warstep Stakes (2000m).

In her first year at stud Darcybee produced a colt by Coolmore Stud’s outstanding sire Encosta de Lago (by Fairy King), who sold for $450,000 at 2009 Karaka Yearling sales. She currently has a colt foal by flying spur at foot.

From the 1983 European Sprinting Champion Habibti, by the Danzig successful sire Green Desert, and closely related to the Champion New Zealand mare Eight Carat, Desert Lily brings a Northern Hemisphere pedigree that would grace any stud farm world wide.

Desert Lily's Carnegie colt and Zabeel colt sold at the 2000 and 2002 Karaka Premier Sales respectively for $310,000. Pencarrow retained Desert Lily's Zabeel filly La Fleur. Trained by Jim Gibbs the filly won the Auckland Racing Club's Group 2 Royal Stakes to bring black type progeny to this wonderful pedigree. In 2003 Desert Lily foaled a full sister to La Fleur named Zygadene, an exciting winner over 1600m.

Desert Lily 2005 filly by Encosta de Lago, is winning racehorse Star Jasmine. She currently has a 2yr old filly by Zabeel in the racing team and a colt foal by More Than Ready at foot.

Devil’s Lair is the dam of 2002 NZ Bloodstock Filly of the Year and Group I New Zealand Oaks winner Vapour Trail (by Jetball) and stakes-winner Santagostino (by Giant's Causeway). Devil’s Lair is the half-sister to stakes placed Noisy Peer (by Lord Ballina) and is from the family of Group III winner Shasavaan (by Red God).

Her 2007 colt by Encosta De Lago is the classy performer Encosta Diablo and she has a yearling filly by Pins who will be retained by the stud.

This mare is from one of the Stud's foundation mares, Sharp Walk. Eminent Walk's second dam, Fairy Walk, not only was the Top Filly on the Aust. 2YO Free H., but has established a dynasty that includes Cheyne Walk, Jubilee Walk, and the dams of Country Walk, Broadwalk Angel (the dam of Coogee Walk), and Old Man and Crawl.

Eminent Walk foaled a bay filly in 2001 to the Group I winning son of Nureyev in Fasliyev, who became the Group 3 performer Darcybee. Two of her foals to go through the Karaka auction ring were her 2003 colt by Black Minnaloushe, now named Maloushe and a winner over 1600m, and Lord Pyrus (by Pyrus) sold as a weanling in 2006, who has gone on to be a consistent performer in Australia. She has a yearling colt by Fast N Famous who will attend this season's Karaka Yearling Sales.

Encens is a half-sister to Group I winner and successful sire Scenic (by Sadler’s Wells) and Group III winner and sire Silent Warrior (by Nashwan). Encens, a winner at 2 in France, is out of a half-sister to Group winner, I Will Follow, the dam of Rainbow Quest and Group winner Slightly Dangerous, the dam of Warning.

Encens produced a Danehill filly that brought in the sale topping price of $1,300,000 at the 2005 Karaka Premier Yearling Sale. In 2007 she produced a smart colt by Redoute's Choice, that sold to Australia at last seasons Karaka Yearling sales for $430,000 and she has a yearling filly by Darci Brahma which will be retained by the stud.

The darling of the 2001/02 season with handicap victories in the Gr. I VRC Melbourne Cup, Gr. I VATC Caulfield Cup and a sensational WFA performance in the Gr. I STC The BMW Stakes. Ethereal represents the third generation of her Pencarrow family, being out of HK I Hong Kong Cup winner Romanee Conti who in turn is out of the wonderful foundation mare Richebourg. Ethereal was awarded the Waikato Horse of the Year Award and the Australian Champion Stayer of the Year Award for her multiple Group I wins.

Her first foal, a filly by Giant's Causeway - named Uberalles - won the Group 2 Great Northern Guineas and was third in the Group 1 New Zealand Derby, and her 2005 colt, Aetherius, by Nureyev’s sire son, Stravinsky, sold for $1,300,000 at the Karaka Premier sale in 2007. She has a 2yr old filly also by Stravinsky who has joined the Pencarrow racing team and a filly foal by Encosta De Lago at foot.

This Classy racemare trained by Colin Jillings and Richard Yuill, was runner-up on the Group 1 New Zealand Oaks (2400m) at Trentham and also the Group 2 Waikato Times Gold Cup (2400m).

She is a half-sister to Group 1 placegetter Vega Sicilia and from the same family as champion galloper Naturalism and multiple Group 1 winner Star Dancer.

Her first foal, born last season, was a filly by Encosta De Lago, and she has a filly foal at foot by Darci Brahma. Both will be retained by the stud.

This Group I winning daughter of Pencarrow's fine and successful broodmare, Richebourg, was retired to the broodmare band in 2001 with a wonderful record of winning the Group I SAJC Australasian Oaks, as well as the Group III Lakewood Stud Stakes, and two other wins.

Grand Echezeaux's first foal was a bay colt by Danehill who sold at the 2004 Karaka Premier Sale for $1,100,000. He raced as Darci Brahma and with five Group 1 wins claimed the Champion Two- and Three-Year-Old titles and NZ Champion Sprinter title in 2007. He now stands as a stallion at The Oaks Stud. Her colt by Stravinsky was sold at Karaka for $2,200,000 in 2007 and, named Saperavi, now also stands at stud.

Grand Echezeaux's yearling colt by Redoute's Choice is expected to be a feature lot at the 2010 Karaka Yearling Sales, and she currently has a colt foal by Pins at foot.

Hameeda is from the legendary broodmare Habibti and part of the famous Eight Carat family. Habibti is the winner of three Group I races and a half sister to Eight Carat, whose progeny Octagonal (by Zabeel), Diamond Lover (by Sticks and Stones), Kaapstaad (by Sir Tristram), Marquise (by Gold and Ivory) and Mouawad (by Zabeel) have all won Group I races.

Hameeda currently has a yearling filly by Holy Roman Emperor, which will be retained by the stud and a colt foal by Perfectly Ready at foot.

This unraced Irish-bred mare has proved a valuable addition to the Pencarrow Stud broodmare band with some notable progeny including the Group 2 Queensland Guineas winner Saxon and the other stakes performers Power Of Destiny and Dane Shakira.

She has a yearling filly by Darci Brahma who will be retained by the stud.

Out of the half-sister to Group I winners Hula Chief (by Marceau) and Hula Drum (by Marceau) and to Listed winner Hawaiian Song (by Zamazaan), Kailey Princess is by champion sire Danehill. The family also includes Group I winners Waikiki Boy (by Two Harbors) and Love Dance (by Kaapstad).

Kailey Princess has produced four winners including Prosperous Bid and Canny Princess. She currently has a yearling filly by Pentire and a filly foal by No Excuse Needed, who will both join the Pencarrow racing team.

From the Belle family who has given so much to NZ racing and breeding throughout the past 40 years, Kirin Belle continues to uphold the family tradition of producing winners. Kirin Belle has produced the stakes placed Lady Maroof (by Maroof) in South Africa and the Group II Queensland Guineas winner Winning Belle (by Zabeel).

Kirin Belle's filly by Zabeel was bought by Gai Waterhouse, the trainer of Winning Belle, for $280,000 in 2002, and her colt by Zabeel was bought as a yearling by Robert Roulston in 2006 for $320,000. Her 2006 filly by Encosta de Lago, now named Our Ella Belle was recently placed in the Group I NZB 1000 Guineas after winning the Guineas Trail in canterbury. She currently has a yearling colt by Darci Brahma who will be offered at the 2010 Karaka Yearling Sales.

A dual Group II winning grand-daughter of the wonderful Group I winning race mare Habibti (by Habitat), Lafleur is from the famous Eight Carat family. Counting Group I winners Morshdi (by Slip Anchor), Octagonal (by Zabeel), Diamond Lover (by Sticks and Stones), Don Eduardo (by Zabeel), Tristalove (by Sir Tristram), Kaapstad (by Sir Tristram), Marquise (by Gold and Ivory) and Mouawad (by Zabeel) amongst her close family.

Lafleur's first foal, a filly by Red Ransom, now named Amaryllis is a duel winner for Pencarrow, and her 2006 colt by Johar sold for $240,000 at the Karaka Yearling Sales. She has a 2 year old filly and a filly foal at foot, both by Redoute's Choice, who will be retained by the stud.

By Champion American Japanese sire and Group I Breeders Cup Classic winner Sunday Silence, Love Connection is out of three-time Listed winner Pleasureconnection.

Love Connection is the dam of Group 1 performer Stanica (by Zabeel) and winner in Australia True Paradise (by Generous). Her 2005 filly, Fine Connection, by Pins was bought by Shadai Farm for $220,000 at the Karaka Premier Sale in 2007, and her Redoute's Choice colt was a stand out at the 2009 Karaka sales, selling for $700,000. She has a yearling colt by Darci Brahma who will represent her at the sales in 2010.

This mare is from the black-type rich family of Turn and Dance (by Dance Bid) and Her Valentine (by Stalwart). An unraced half-sister to Group I winner Love Lock (by Silver Ghost), she produced her first foal in 2003, a filly by champion sire Danehill, the promising four-time winner Terroir.

Lucky be Lucky foaled a filly by Champion Australian Racehorse Lonhro in 2005 who is now named Santangelo and runs under Pencarrow colours. Santangelo has recorded four wins and a Group 3 place so far in her career, and has proved to be the consumate professional. Lucky Be Lucky has a 2006 gelding by Zabeel and a yearling filly by Darci Brahma, who have both been retained by the stud.

Magical Moment is from Group II and Listed winner Interval. Her Listed winning half-sister Cheyenne Dream (by Dancing Brave) is the dam of two stakes placegetters and her half-brother is Short Pause (by Sadler’s Wells).

Magical Moment's 2205 colt by Faltaat, now named Fears Nothing, has proven to a classy individual with four wins and a 3rd in the Group 3 Waikato Guineas, under his belt. She currently has a colt by Excellent Art at foot.

Listed and six-time winner Marie Claire is from the Pencarrow stud mare Trotanoy, a Listed winner herself. This half-sister to dual Group III winner Arrabea (by Zabeel) is also from the family of Group I winner Pride of Rancho (by Rancho Ruler).

Marie Claire had her first foal in 2005, a grey filly by undefeated Group I winning son of Zabeel, Reset. Her 2006 filly, Miraflores (by Johar) currently races in Pencarrow colours and she has a yearling colt by Darci Brahma who will be attending the 2010 Karaka Yearling Sales. Marie Claire currently has a colt foal by Pentire at foot.

Three-time Listed winner Masaniella is the daughter of a Listed winner in Paesanella. Masaniella is from the family of Champion New Zealand three-year old and Group I New Zealand Derby winner Buzz Lightyear (by Gold Brose).

Masaniella is the dam of an unraced Strategic filly called Verganti, and foaled bay fillies by champion New Zealand sire (AEI) Faltaat in 2004 and 2005. She currently has a yearling filly by Dehere, who will be retained by the stud.

This young mare is a daughter of one of the best sires to ever stand in Ireland in Sadler's Wells. In addition to this, she is a granddaughter of multiple Group 1 winner and USA Horse of the Year, All Along. Her full sister, Juliette, is a Listed race winner in Ireland.

Her first foal, born in 2006, was a colt by Fastnet Rock, who sold for $550,000 at Karaka in 2008. He is now named Rock Of Solitude and was a recent winner in Australia. Her 2007 filly by Stravinsky sold to Hong Kong for $260,000 and she has a quality colt by Zabeel who will be included in the draft at the 2010 sales. Oh So Precious currently has a colt foal by Zabeel at foot.

From the outstanding Pencarrow Stud family which has produced so many fine gallopers including Ethereal, Romanee Conti, Darci Brahma and Grand Echezeaux.

A half-sister to Group I winner and champion sire Honour and Glory (by Relaunch), Paint Me A Dream is out of the half-sister to Group I winner Ogygian (by Damascus).

Paint Me A Dream produced a Danehill colt who sold for $400,000 at the 2005 Karaka Premier Sale. She has a 2 year old filly by Charge Forward who will be retained by the stud and a yearling filly by Darci Brahma who will be among the draft at the 2010 Karaka Yearling Sales. She also has a colt foal by Darci Brahma at foot.

The Group II winning Paolino, by Housebuster, continues the wonderful Pencarrow Stud family of her dam Riverina Charm. The multiple Group I winning Sir Tristram mare Riverina Charm was Top of the 1988-89 Australasian 3YO Classification (1300m-2000m) and she has left the 2000 NZ Bloodstock Filly Of The Year Group winning Sarwatch (by Jetball). Her half-sister Paolino won five races in total including the prestigious Group II Counties RC Auckland Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes.

Paolino is the dam of stakeswinner, Mirandola, and her 2 year old filly by High Chaperral, Pezzaglia, won on her debut recently at Te Rapa. She has a yearling colt by O'Reilly who will be attending the 2010 Karaka Yearling Sales and a colt foal by Darci Brahma at foot.

Pavan is by leading New Zealand broodmare sire Centaine and from one of the Stud’s foundation mares in Group 1 South Australian Oaks winner Marmalitre. Pavan’s racing career saw her record two second placings in the Group 1 races: the New Zealand Oaks and the Australasian Oaks.

As a broodmare she has foaled ten foals including the multiple Australian winner Let Loushe (Black Minnaloushe) and Yours. In 2006 she produced a colt by Elvstroem, Cash Melody, who was purchased from the Karaka Yearling Sales for $260,000, and her Pins filly sold for $280,000 at the 2009 Yearling Sales. Her 2008 Darci Brahma filly will be retained by the stud and she has a Darci Brahma colt at foot.

Classic Pencarrow Stud family which has produced so many great gallopers over the years including Darci Brahma, Grand Echezeaux, Ethereal, Romanee Conti and Darci Brahma.

Her first foal, in 2007, was a Red Ransom filly, now named Taormina, who will complete her education before commencing a racing career for the stud in the autumn. Perrine currently has a Pins colt who is included in the Draft for the 2010 Karaka yearling sales and a Pins colt at foot.

Promethean is the first foal from New Zealand Bloodstock Filly of the Year Series winner Sarwatch (Jetball). Her grand-dam is Pencarrow’s outstanding racemare Riverina Charm (Sir Tristram), who was the victor of four Group 1 events including the STC Canterbury Guineas and the Rosehill Guineas.

During her racing career Promethean won as a two, three and four-year-old from the stable of Richard Yuill.

She is by the Group 1 Newmarket Dewhurst Stakes winning son of Chief’s Crown, Grand Lodge. He is the sire of the multiple Group 1 winner and sire Grandera, plus the likes of Freemason, Shogun Lodge, Sinndar and Grand Zulu.

As a broodmare sire he has produced the dams of the Group 1 Turffontein Summer Cup winner Strategic News as well as Group 2 winners Marching and Zipping.

Her first foal in 2007 was a filly by Darci Brahma, who will be retained by the stud. Her second foal, also a filly is by Postponed.

Romanee St. Vivant continues the wonderful Pencarrow family of Romanee Conti and Richebourg and the mare joins the broodmare band in the same year as her half sister, Ethereal (by Rhythm), added further glory to the family with her Group I win in the Queensland Oaks. Ethereal went on to win a further three Group I races including the Melbourne Cup, Caulfield Cup double.

Her 2006 colt by High Chaparral sold to Hong Kong and her 2007 colt by Johar sold at the recent 2009 ready-to-run sales. She has a yearling filly by Fast N Famous that will be retained by the stud.

This Group 2 winner of the Great Northern Guineas and winner of four races has joined the Pencarrow Stud broodmare band and promises to be an exciting addition. She also won the Listed Gold Coast Bracelet at the Queensland winter carnival.

She is a half-sister to the Pencarrow Stud-bred Vapour Trail who won the Group 1 New Zealand Oaks and collected the New Zealand Bloodstock Filly Of The Year series.

Santagostino's first foal, born in 2008, was a bay filly by Darci Brahma, and she currently has a filly foal, also by Darci Brahma, at foot. Both will be retained by the stud.

A Group II, Group III and Listed winner, as well as stakes placed, Sarwatch is a worthy daughter of Pencarrow’s Group I winner Riverina Charm. The 2000 New Zealand Bloodstock Filly of the Year, Sarwatch is the dam of four named foals including three-time winner Promethean (by Grand Lodge)and Noble Manor (by Stravinsky) who has been a prolific winner in Singapore.

Sarwatch currently has a yearling colt by Redoute's Choice and a filly foal at foot by O'Reilly.

Shopping Spree is by Champion sire and broodmare sire Sadler’s Wells and is out of a full sister to Zoman (Affirmed), a group 1 winner in France and in the U.S.A. Sadler’s Wells is the dam’s sire of the likes of Henrythenavigator, Divine Proportions, Sakhee, and El Condor Pasa.


Shopping Spree’s second foal, is the very promising 5 year old Cape Cross mare Kudamm. The Stud also retained her 2006 full-sister, Via Vineto who won recently on her race debut. In 2007 Shopping Spree produced a Pentire filly, who will be retained by the stud.

Sierra Finch is from the family of Group I winner Fiesta Gal (by Alleged) and out of a Group II and Group III placed mare. She is the dam of Sierra Dane (by Danehill) who is a dual winner and Group II, Group III and Listed placed, and Vitality Champ (by Danehill) a winner in Hong Kong.

Sierra Finch foaled a filly by Danehill who sold for $300,000 at the 2005 Karaka Premier Yearling Sale. She foaled a filly by Keeper in September 2004, Voliera, who races under Pencarrow Colours, and a colt by Danehill’s six-time Group I winning son Rock of Gibraltar in 2005. Her 2007 colt by Danehill Dancer sold at the 2009 Karaka Yearling Sales for $240,000 and now races as Big Ace.

Silver And Roses is out of the multiple Group winning mare, including the Group 1 Kentucky Oaks and Santa Anita Santa Susana Stakes, Blush With Pride. Blush With Pride is the dam of eleven foals to race with nine of these being winners.

Her 2007 foal was a filly by Pins who sold for $300,000 at the 2009 Premier Karaka Yearling Sale and her 2008 colt by Darci Brahma will represent her at the 2010 sales. Silver and Roses has a Darci Brahma colt at foot.

Her first foal, born in 2006, is Stanica Star who sold at the 2008 Karaka Yearling Sales, and her yearling colt by Redoute's Choice will follow in his footsteps this year, making up part of the 2010 Pencarrow draft. She currently has a colt foal by Pins at foot.

A Listed winner from the family of Group I winner Boardwalk Angel (by Bletchingly), dam of Group I winners Coogee Walk (by Success Express) and Crawl (by Dr Grace). The family also includes Group I Golden Slipper winner Fairy Walk (by Minor Portion), three-time Group I winner Cheyne Walk (by Le Cordonnier) and Group II winner Jubilee Walk (by King of Babylon).

Tehama's first foal, a colt by Fasliyev sold at the 2007 Karaka yearling Sale, and now called Break free, he is enjoying a successful career in Singapore. Her second foal, also a colt, by Danzero was sold to Te Akau and has made a promising start to his career with a win and a second in his trials. Tehama currently has a 2 year old filly by Savabeel who is in preperation for an autumn campaign for the Pencarrow Racing team, and a colt foal by Choisir at foot.

Group 1 placegetter in the New Zealand One Thousand Guineas and also listed placegetter in the ARC Soliloquy Stakes.

Her first foal, a colt by Pins will be offered at the 2010 Karaka Yearling Sales and she currently has an O'Reilly filly foal at foot.

Winner of the Listed Wairarapa Breeders' Stakes at Tauherenikau. She showed a lot of racing ability. The winner of four races and Group 2 placegetter in the Travis Stakes at Te Rapa. Family of Group 1 winner Lord Ted and top racing performer Melody Belle.

Out of Group II winner Christiania Belle and from the wonderful Belle family, Zino Belle, a Group III winner herself, is the dam of winning race mare Elbaz Belle, now a Pencarrow broodmare herself. Zino Belle is from the family of Pencarrow Stud’s foundation broodmare, Finezza Belle (by Sir Tristram), a Group II and Group III winner in Australia and New Zealand.

Zino Belle foaled a filly by Pins in 2005 who was sold to England for $200,000 at the 2007 Karaka Yearling Sale and her 2007 colt by Elvstroem sold to Singapore in 2009. This season Zino Belle will be represented by a Darci Brahma filly at the 2010 sales.

By the World Champion Sire Nureyev from a dam who has left 12 foals, with 10 to race, for 8 winners, Zorina has an international pedigree that is top class. Her Woodman filly sold for $165,000 at the 2000 Karaka Premier Sale and at the 2002 Premier Sale her Tale Of The Cat colt sold to Newlands Thoroughbreds for $130,000. Named Tchaikovsky the colt has won six race and placed in the Listed Concept Stakes at Flemington, the Listed Tupperware Cup at Caulfield and the Group III Carbine Club Stakes at Flemington during the spring of 2003. In 2002 Zorina foaled a bay colt by the Woodlands stallion Octagonal and in 2004 foaled a filly by Red Ransom, now called Tereshkina.

Zorina currently has a 2007 filly by Johar and a 2008 filly by Lucky Unicorn, both will be retained by the stud.
