She was foaled in 1997 at Pencarrow Stud in New Zealand. The winner of 8 races, her victories included the Group 1 Caulfield Cup, Group 1 Melbourne Cup and Group 1 BMW Stakes - three of the most important staying races on the Australasian calendar.

She joined an elite group of horses to have completed the Caulfield/Melbourne Cups double in the same year. As a 3yo she also captured a win in the Group 1 Queensland Oaks. She amassed stake earnings of more than A$4.7 million in a career which stamped her as one of the top racemares in Australasia.

She is by Rhythm from Pencarrow Stud-bred Hong Kong Cup winner Romanee Conti, a daughter of Sir Tristram.

Ethereal was named the Champion Australian Stayer in 2002.

One of the foundation broodmares and a magnificent influence on the identity and success of Pencarrow Stud.

Noble heights is a daughter of Sir Tristram, she won seven races including the Group 1 New Zealand 1000 Guineas. She also won the Group 2 Royal Stakes, Group 3 Lowland Stakes and Group 3 Gold Trail Stakes and finished third in the Group 1 Australian (AJC) Oaks at Randwick during her outstanding three-year-old campaign.

These performances saw her win the prestigious New Zealand Filly of the Year title. She also performed with a great deal of credit during her four-year-old campaign in Australia where she won the Listed Eagle Farm Stakes in Brisbane in June, 1983. Later that same year she went to Sydney and captured the Group 3 Queen's Cup before running third in the Group 1 Metropolitan Handicap.

The Group 3 Hong Kong International Cup winner of 1993. She also scored a superb win in the Group 3 STC Queen of the Turf Stakes at Rosehill in Sydney. In addition she won four other Group and Listed races.

She registered seven wins in total, as well as her second place to the champion Octagonal in the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick. She collected total prize money of over NZ$1 million in 1988, made Romanee Conti a great racemare for the Stud and all race followers through out Australasia and Asia.

At stud she has proved an equally outstanding performer as the dam of Caulfield/Melbourne Cups winner Ethereal which has ensured her dynasty will live on for many generations to come.

A bay colt by Danehill who sold at the 2004 Karaka Premier Sale for $1,100,000, Darci Brahma registered five Group 1 wins in an amazing racing career. These Group 1 victories included the T J Smith Classic in Brisbane as a two-year-old.

At three he won the Group 1 Two Thousand Guineas and beat the older horses in the Group 1 Otak1-Maori RC WFA Stakes. As a four-year-old he cemented himself as a champion horse by winning the Group 1 Telegraph Handicap and the Group 1 Waikato Drought Sprint. He was named the Champion Two- and Three-Year-Old titles and NZ Champion Sprinter title in 2007.

He has stood at The Oaks Stud in Cambridge since 2007 and has already amassed an impressive record. He is the sire of 10 Stakewinners including three Group 1 winners at the end of the 2012/13 racing season.

A wonderful race mare by Sir Tristram with seven wins including four Group 1's on both sides of the Tasman. Her Group 1 victories came in the Group 1 Air New Zealand Stakes, Group 1 Rosehill Guineas, Group 1 Canterbury Guineas and Group 1 Melbourne's 1000 Guineas.

She amassed nearly A$800,000 in stake earnings, Riverina Charm has left three individual stakeswinners including the 2000 New Zealand Bloodstock Filly of the Year series title-winner in Sarwatch, plus Paolino and Russian Charm. Sarwatch's most important wins came in the Group 2 Royal Stakes at Ellerslie and Group 3 Gold Trail Stakes at Hastings.

Riverina Charm had an amazing turn of foot which was seen to full advantage in the closing stages of most of her races.

This Group 1-winning daughter of Pencarrow's fine and successful broodmare, Richebourg, was retired to the broodmare band in 2001 with a wonderful record of winning the Group 1 SAJC Australasian Oaks, as well as the Group 3 Lakewood Stud Stakes, and two other wins.
Her first foal was Darci Brahma, five-time Group 1 winner and successful sire.

A horse with a brilliant turn-of-foot, Guiseppina showed she had a great deal of ability when beating subsequent Group 1 winners Keep the Peace and The Party Stand before being forced off the track through injury in 2009.

Her return to the races over a year later in 2011 saw her take three consecutive wins including theListed Flying Handicap. However, it was the 2011/12 season which saw her cement her title as a top race mare, winning the Listed Levin Stakes before blazing home from the back of the field to win the Group 1 Telegraph Handicap.

International success greeted Pencarrow Stud with Peter and Philip Vela breeding European Group 1 winning sprinter Maarek in association with New England Stud. Once raced by the Vela brothers and New England Stud, Maarek won the Group 1 Prix de l’Abbaye de Longchamp on the undercard to the Prix de l'arc de Triomphe for Irish trainer Barry Lalor.

Maarek is by international sire Pivotal who stands at the world-renowned Cheveley Park Stud. The gelding produced a great turn of foot to come from well back to win the Group 1 feature over 5 furlongs.

Winner of the Group 1 New Zealand Bloodstock 1000 Guineas at Riccarton in 2007. She also won the Group 3 Eulogy Stakes at Awapuni and finished second in the Group 2 Sir Tristram Fillies Classic. She collected the New Zealand Bloodstock Filly of the Year series title for 2007/08.

She was rated by jockey Michael Walker as a very special galloper with a huge amount of natural racing ability. The Keeper filly is trained by Mark Walker at Matamata.

The wonderful race performer, Vapour Trail, joined the illustrious Pencarrow Stud broodmare band in 2002 after her crowning glory as the 2002 New Zealand Bloodstock Filly of the Year. The five-time winner, including the Group 1 New Zealand Oaks and Group 2 ARC Eight Carat Classic and Group 2 WRC Sir Tristram Fillies Classic, is from the unraced Sir Tristram mare, Devil’s Lair.

Vapour Trail was trained by Dean and Donna Logan throughout her racing career. Her other notable victories came in the Group 2 Great Northern Guineas against all comers and the Listed Auckland Guineas Trial. She also was placed third in the Group 2 ARC Grosvenor Championship Stakes at Ellerslie.

A three-time Group 1 winner who scored at the highest level on both sides of the Tasman. He won the Group 1 JRA Classic and Group 1 Auckland Classic in New Zealand and took out the Group 1 Futurity Stakes in Melbourne beating a quality field of sprinters under weight-for-age conditions.

He won a total of 14 races during an outstanding career from the stable of Bruce Wallace at Takanini. Star Dancer's deeds were recognised at the BMW Awards functions.

Superstar race-mare Supera (NZ) (Savabeel) is trained by Ken and Bev Kelso for owner-breeder Sir Peter Vela. She has claimed victories in the Group 2 Tauranga Stakes (1600m) and has provided Pencarrow Stud with its fourth win in the Group 2 Travis Stakes (2000m). She has also claimed the Group 3 Anniversary Stakes (1600m), along with a second placing in the Group 1 New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeders’ Stakes (1600m). She has now had 23 starts for eight wins and eight placings and amassed $387,225 in stakes.

A granddaughter of champion mare Ethereal (NZ) (Rhythm), Supera is out of Sopra Tutto (NZ) (Van Nistelrooy), who is the dam of five winners from six foals to race including Eleonora (NZ) (Makfi), who won two Group 3 races and placed in the Group 1 VRC Oaks (2500m).

From a champion South African filly (Petrava) and a champion South African filly herself. She produced three wins at Group 1 level in South Africa - the South African Fillies Guineas, the Kenilworth Paddock Stakes and the Kenilworth Cape Fillies Guineas.

After winning on debut at his home track of Ruakaka, Pencarrow-bred Hasselhoof (NZ) (Tavistock) would later go on to claim six consecutive victories remaining unbeaten in the Group 2 Rich Hill Mile (1600m) ran on New Years Day. Hasslehoof also placed third in the Group 1 Livamol Classic Stakes (2040m), the Listed J Swap Contractors Sprint Handicap (1400m) and the Listed Parramatta Cup (1900m).

Trainer Donna Logan purchased Hasselhoof for $14,000 from Pencarrow at New Zealand Bloodstock’s 2013 Karaka Select Sale. Bred by Sir Peter Vela and the late Philip Vela, the son of Tavistock is out of Alpine (Zabeel) and is a half-brother to stakes-winner Vercors (Catbird), winner of the Listed Wairarapa Thoroughbred Breeders’ Stakes. His dam is a full-sister to Manawa King (Zabeel), runner-up in the Group 1 Sydney Cup, and is a half-sister to stakes-winner Lord Ted (Lord Ballina), winner of the Group 1 Ellerslie Sires’ Produce Stakes.

Was a brilliant winner of the Group I New Zealand Bloodstock One Thousand Guineas at Riccarton and was the winner of three other events at Group level during her fine career on the track. The other Group race wins were recorded in the Group 2 Japan/NZ Trophy, Group 3 Desert Gold Stakes and the Group 3 Eulogy Stakes.

She was also the gamest (and unlucky) second in the Group 1 New Zealand Derby. She was trained by Laurie Laxon who held the daughter of Deputy Governor in the very highest regard. Her career winning tally was six wins from only 30 starts.

Brilliant performing mare Eleonora (NZ) (Makfi) has a pedigree that features some of the biggest names in Pencarrow’s proud and prestigious history, including her granddam - the legendary Ethereal (NZ) (Rhythm). Eleonora had an 11-start racing which sent her value to another level. Her victories included the Group 3 Sunline Vase (2100m) at Ellerslie and a very fitting Group 3 Ethereal Stakes (200m) win at Caulfield, named in honour of her superstar granddam and run on Caulfield Cup day. She also placed in another two stakes races including the prestigious Group 1 VRC Oaks (200m) at Flemington.

Offered by Pencarrow at New Zealand Bloodstock’s 2015 Premier Sale, Eleonora was bought for just $60,000 by Bruce Perry Bloodstock on behalf of Lib Petagna’s JML Bloodstock. Her value has also been further boosted by the deeds of her half-sister Supera (NZ) (Savabeel), who has won eight races.

Enormously talented Pencarrow mare Rasa Lila (NZ) (Darci Brahma) had an illustrious career capturing the Group 2 Travis Stakes (2000m) and the Group 3 Wentwood Grange Cuddle Stakes (1600m). She also placed in the Group 1 Windsor Park Plate (1600m), the Group 1 Easter Cup (1600m) at Ellerslie, the Group 2 Cal Isuzu stakes (1600m) and the Group 3 Eagle Technology Stakes (1600m).

Rasa Lila has had a stellar career with trainers Steven Ramsay and Julia Ritchie, recording seven wins from 30 starts and a further 13 placings. The brilliant mare began her racing career in Australia’s David Hayes stable as a three-year-old before relocating to see her first start in New Zealand at four.

Owner Sir Peter Vela bred the mare with his brother Philip Vela. Rasa Lila is out of unraced Dance My Dance (IRE) (Sadler’s Wells) who is the dam of Group 3 winner Posavina (Tiger Hill).

This top-class galloper won the Group 1 Rosehill Guineas and was a game second in the Group 1 AJC Derby. He produced some top efforts in group company throughout his racing career.

Having won at only his second race-day start as a two-year-old he showed his best form as a three-year-old with a succession of high-class performances. A horse with a wonderful turn of foot who competed at the highest level with a lot of distinction.

Won the New Zealand Bloodstock Filly of the Year and ultra-consistent throughout a racing career which netted her four wins. A Group 2, Group 3 and Listed winner, as well as stakes placed, Sarwatch is a worthy daughter of Pencarrow’s Group 1 winner Riverina Charm. Her most notable victories were recorded in the Group 2 ARC Royal Stakes, Group 3 Highview Stakes and Listed ARC Soliloquy Stakes.

Winner of the Group 1 New Zealand Derby when defeating star performer Veandercross. He was a proven stayer and trained by Laurie Laxon who held him in high regard.

Scored a fine win in the Group 2 Queensland Guineas and also finished a game third in the Group 1 Queensland Oaks. Also won the Group 3 Canterbury Cup. She finished second to the great Makybe Diva in the Group 1 Australian Cup which was run in world record time.

A tough Redoute’s Choice mare, Dolmabache showed significant development during her four-year-old season and capped off the 2011/12 season in style, returning from an Australian campaign to win the Group 2 Travis Stakes at Te Rapa beating a good field of fillies and mares. She also placed second in the Group 1 WRC International Stakes over 2000m behind Sangster.

Defeated the champion mare Sunline when he won the Group 1 Epsom Handicap at Royal Randwick. A top-class gallloper. The winner of five races

Winner of the Group 1 Sydney Cup and runner-up in the Group 1 Metropolitan. He won a total of four Group races also winning the Group 2 AJC St Leger. He was trained by Australia's first lady of racing, Gai Waterhouse. He won a total of eight races.

Bred and raced by Sir Peter Vela, four-time winning Pencarrow mare Wildflower (NZ) (Keeper) left an impression on the track, having previously won the Listed Rotorua Challenge Plate (1950m). She was also runner up in the Group 1 Auckland Herbie Dyke Stakes (2000m) and the Group 2 Avondale Cup (2400m).

The Keeper mare has now had 22 starts for four wins and seven placings and was trained by Graham Richardson and Gavin Parker throughout her racing career. She is a daughter of the race-winning Zabeel mare Zygadene (NZ) who is a full-sister to the multiple stakes winner Lafleur (NZ).

Winner of the Group 1 South Australian Oaks at Morphettville in 1987 and the winner of five races in Australia in a 25-start career. Did all of her racing in Australia. Has produced a number of winners at stud including Group 1 New Zealand Oaks runner-up Pavan and Listed race winner Felenic.

Winner of the Group 1 Avondale Gold Cup. Highly rated by trainer Roger James. Was also placed third in both the Group 1 Auckland Cup and Group 2 Waikato Cup.

Had huge amount of ability and was a stylish winner of the Group 2 Wakeful Stakes at the Melbourne spring carnival before finishing a very brave second in the Group 1 Victoria Oaks at Flemington.

Won the Group 2 Grand Prix Stakes at the Brisbane winter carnival against a quality field. Was also a placegetter in the Group 1 Queensland Derby and Group 1 Queensland Oaks.

Winner of the Group 2 Matamata Breeders' Stakes in outstanding style and a very smart filly. A half-sister to Don Garcia (Danehill), bought by David Ellis for $1,050,000 as a yearling, Te Akau Coup was also purchased by Ellis from the 2007 New Zealand Bloodstock Yearling Sale from the draft of Pencarrow Stud, but for a far more conservative sum of $150,000. The Matamata Breeders’ Stakes has always offered terrific residual value for the winner, and it should be no exception for the good bodied and athletic Te Akau Coup.

Winner of the Group 2 Dulcie Stakes at Te Rapa against a high quality line-up of fillies and mares. She had an abundance of talent.

Quality Pencarrow mare Sleeping Beauty (NZ) (Rip Van Winkle) has previously won the Group 3 Rotorua Stakes (1400m) and Listed Ultimate Ford and Mazda Tauranga Classic (1400m). She has also placed in three other black-type races including the Group 2 Westbury Classic (1400m) and Auckland Thoroughbred Breeders’ Stakes (1400m).

The Lance O’Sullivan and Andrew Scott-trained mare has now had 24 starts for 10 wins and six placings throughout her career. Sleeping Beauty is out of the three-time winning Danehill mare Kailey Princess (NZ). That mare has produced eight winners from 10 foals to race including the stakes placegetters Prosperous Bid (NZ) (Carnegie) and Canny Princess (NZ) (Canny Lad).

Scored an outstanding win in the Group 2 Reisling Slipper in Sydney. Had a huge amount of talent and had a big reputation throughout her racing career which produced five wins and seven placings from just 22 starts. She is well bred being a daughter of Star Watch and the Mill Reef mare, Giladah, and was an outstanding 2yo performer. She was also Group 1 placed in the Karrakatta Plate in Western Australia.

Was the third winner of the Group 2 Sir Tristram Fillies Classic at Te Rapa in four years for Pencarrow Stud. She also won the Group 2 Royal Stakes at Ellerslie. A very classy galloper who proved herself at the highest level during her racing career.

An outstanding winner of the Group 2 Great Northern Guineas at Ellerslie and then went on to record a terrific win in the Listed Gold Coast Bracelet at the Brisbane winter carnival to prove that she was up to Australian black-type level. Beautifully bred by Giant's Causeway from Devil's Lair. In a light racing career she was first past the post on four occasions and created a very good impression with the judges.

Atacama (NZ) (Pentire) made a brilliant hit and run mission to Australia winning the Listed James Boag's Premium Stakes at Flemington Racecourse on Melbourne Cup Day. This is her third consecutive win, with her last two wins both in stakes races. Her first Listed win was the Matamata Cup a month prior to her race at Flemington. Atacama is out of the unraced mare Almaviva (Catbird), with all of her progeny to race being winners.

Winner of the Group 2 Auckland Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes and a very classy racemare. Had a ton of talent and highly rated by trainers Colin Jillings and Richard Yuill.

Showed her true ability in winning the Group 2 Cambridge Stud Sir Tristram Fillies' Classic at Te Rapa and was also successful in the Group 2 Wellington Stakes at Trentham.

Competed against the best three-year-olds in his crop and was successful in the Group 2 Avondale Guineas after overcoming a slow start with a brilliant ride from James McDonald getting the horse over the line. Valbuena is the first stakes winner for Group 1 performer Vega Sicilia.

Fears Nothing proved himself a very competitive performer on the track and was the winner of one of the country’s most sort after events, the Group 2 Rich Hill Mile. Coming into the race in solid form, Fears Nothing raced back and wide in transit but was simply too good in the Ellerslie straight, coming from almost dead last and, with a sustained turn-of-foot, raced over the top of the field to claim his deserved stakes winning status.

A $1.3 million yearling, Burgundy won his first three races in succession at age three culminating in the Listed Canterbury Stakes. Later in the season he cemented his place as one of the top three-year-olds in New Zealand winning the Listed Mr Tiz Trophy and the Group 3 Breeders’ Stakes by over two lengths in a dominant display of speed. He won the Listed Manawatu RC Flying Stakes and the Listed Levin Stakes as a four-year-old. He has been retired to stand his first season at stud in 2013. He will stand at world-renowned Cambridge Stud.

By one of Australasia’s leading sires in Encosta de Lago, Our Ella Belle lived up to her breeding when placing third in the Group 1 New Zealand 1000 Guineas behind champion mare Katie Lee in her first preparation. She followed this up with a win in the Group 3 Taranaki Cup. A mare that had shown that she was more than capable of performing at black-type level; she was brought into the race in winning form and was too strong for her opposition in the straight, winning the Taranaki Cup by a memorable one length margin.

Possesed natural early speed and ran out the winner of the time-honoured Group 2 Maribyrnong Plate at Flemington as a two-year-old in fine style.

A sprinter that had shown good ability on the track, Amaryllis took her well-deserved black-type victory in the Group 3 Darley Plate over 1200 metres at Ellerslie. Ridden by James McDonald in the race fresh up, the mare took the lead at the top of the Ellerslie straight and never looked back, taking the Group 3 by a classy one-and-a-quarter lengths.

From one of New Zealand’s most celebrated families, Amaryllis is from the Group 2-winning mare Lafleur and is a descendant of the Eight Carat family.

An emphatic winner of the Group 3 Gold Trail Stakes which is the opening race in the New Zealand Bloodstock Filly Of The Year series. She also weighed in at Riccarton in the Group 1 New Zealand One Thousand Guineas.

A multiple stakes winner of the Group 3 Thoroughbred Club Stakes in Melbourne and the Group 3 Doomben Classic in Brisbane. Also won the Listed Toy Show Handicap at Randwick and finished second at Group 2 level in the Queen Of The Turf Stakes in Sydney during a distinguished racing career. Scored five wins in total. Talented galloper.

An honest performer on the track, Lord Pyrus showed that he had metropolitan ability and after proving himself on the smaller Australian tracks, he made his way to Melbourne. Racing well at Mooney Valley and Flemington, it was at Caulfield where he put in a big performance in the Group 3 Carlyon Cup over a mile, winning by almost two-and-a-half lengths.

Posavina attained black type status with an emphatic win in the Group 3 Lowland Stakes. Dominating the race from the front Posavina defeated subequent Oaks winner Keep the Peace in decisive fashion. Her dam Dance my Dance was imported in the group of mares in foal to Danehill in 2003. These mares are now forming a strong genetic pool for the stud to draw off in forthcoming years.

Won the Group 3 Tranquil Star Stakes over 1400m and scored five wins in total. A high quality galloper. Superbly bred daughter of Vice Regal and Mary Mead, she carried significant influence as a foundation broodmare of Pencarrow Stud.

A very talented galloper who produced some very creditable performances on the racetrack highligted by success in the Group 3 Sunline Stakes at Te Rapa run by the Cambridge Jockey Club. Trainer Paul O'Sullivan alwasy spoke highly of his ability and was not afraid to take on some nice races with him during his racing career. He won five of only 11 starts during a short but notable racing career.

Very consistent racemare and a stakes winner taking out the Group 3 Invercargill Gold Cup. Winner of 6 races. Dam of Group 1 winner and outstanding galloper Allez Suez who won five races and was a multiple stakes performer. Very successful at stud.

A talented filly that only had a short career before injury curtailed her fledgling career. A winner on debut as a two-year-old, the daughter of Redoute’s Choice entered the Group 3 Gold Trail Stakes at her second start and defeated a quality field of fillies. She is the second foal to race from Our Echezeaux and is a full-sister to Group 2 winner Dolmabache.

The Pencarrow Stud bred gelding achieved his first Group 3 win in the R.J. Peters Stakes race at Ascot in November 2014. He was sold at the 2011 Karaka Premier Yearling Sale for $220,000 where he was taken to Australia to begin his racing career. He raced with distinction in Melbourne, winning three races and was Group 3 placed in the David Jones Cup during the 2013 Melbourne Cup Carnival. Bass Strait is out a Zabeel bred mare, Crystalline, and his grand dam Clear Rose was a Group 1 winner.

A highly consistent mare, Papilio had just two starts at age three and came back a strong four-year-old where she capped off a successful 2011/12 season when winning the Listed South Island Breeders’ Stakes at her black-type debut.

Spacecraft (NZ) (Star Way) is a high-class galloper who won a total of 10 races during his racing career in Australia. These wins were highlighted by two stakes race success, the Listed Kilmore Cup and the Listed Debonair Stakes. He was also a fine third in the Group 1 Australian Guineas in Melbourne as a three-year-old. He finished in the first three home in 18 of his starts.

Classic Walk (NZ) winner of the Listed South Island Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes at Riccarton. A daughter of Grosvenor, Classic Walk is from an outstanding family which features Boardwalk Angel and Coogee Walk. She won a total of seven races and also finished third in the Group 3 Cuddle Stakes at Trentham.

Battocchi (NZ) (Success Express) is a dual black-type winner during her racing career. She won the Listed Matriarch Stakes at Flemington and also the Listed Ballarat Cup in Victoria. She has become a very good producer and is the dam of Group 1 Telegraph Handicap winner Guiseppina .

Trotanoy (AUS) (Lord Seymour) won the Listed Canterbury Belle Stakes at Riccarton as well as the Listed Timaru Stakes at Timaru. The mare also finished third in the Group 3 Gold Trail Stakes recording a total of six wins and has produced six individual winners at stud including the stakes performers Arrabeea and Marie Claire.

Tehama (NZ) (Centaine) is a nicely bred mare who made her mark on the racetrack winning the Listed Warstep Stakes at Riccarton. From the family of Boardwalk Angel and Coogee Walk, she is a half-sister to Listed winner Darcybee.

Filante Etoile (NZ) (Soviet Star) scored a fine win in the Listed Metropolitan Handicap in Brisbane. The mare was also the runner-up in the Group 1 New Zealand Oaks at Trentham and proved to be a very useful staying mare.

Felenic (NZ) (Cape Cross) was the winner of the Listed Warstep Stakes at Riccarton. She is a half-sister to Pavan who was runner-up in both the Group 1 Australasian Oaks and New Zealand Oaks.

Darcybee (NZ) (Fasliyev) is a winner of the Listed Pegasus Handicap at Riccarton and twice runner-up in Group 3 races. She is a half-sister to the Listed winner Tehama and had plenty of speed.

Vercors (NZ) (Catbird) was successful in the Listed Wairarapa Breeders Stakes for fillies and mares at Tauherenikau. She was also Group 2 placed in the Travis Stakes at Te Rapa and is closely related to Group 1 winner Lord Ted and Group 1 Sydney Cup runner-up Manawa King.

Harb (NZ) (Catbird) was trained by David Hayes. He won the Listed Oaklands Plate in South Australia. Closely related to multiple Group 1 winners Star Dancer and Naturalism.

Mirandola (NZ) (O'Reilly) scored a fine win in the Listed Avondale Two-Year-Old Fillies Stakes at Avondale. The mare is beautifully bred from the same family as Riverina Charm and Sarwatch.

Encosta Diablo (NZ) (Encosta de Lago) starred in the sale ring before even making his racecourse debut, selling for $600,000 to the Te Akau stud four colt syndicate. This outstanding individual was stamped with racecourse potential at an early age, he quickly gave an indication of things to come winning two of his three starts as a two year old. The time honoured Listed Welcome stakes ranks as his most important success. A son out of Devil's Lair, he is a half sibling to outstanding performers Santagostino and Vapour trail.

In a career spanning only 24 starts, Marie Claire (NZ) (O'Reilly) proved herself a top level sprinter/miler as she competed in New Zealand’s elite ranks for much of her racing career. A model of consistency, she earned her black-type when winning the Listed GR Kelt Memorial in Hastings, and went on to run second in the Group 1 Captain Cook Stakes at her next start.

Winning a stakes race at age two is not an easy task, but Bespoke (NZ) (Pins) showed the determination and professionalism required when winning the Listed Welcome Stakes in Canterbury. From the famous Pencarrow family, Bespoke is from the stakes-placed mare Velvet and Satin who is a daughter of Romanee Conti, the dam of the Melbourne Cup winner Ethereal.

Pencarrow Racing have tallied a number of stakes races around the world but in 2013 a Prestigious Jumping Race was added to the list of achievements for the team with Mahanadi (NZ) (Tiger Hill) conquering the Grand National Hurdle in a bold front running display that saw the talent jumper lead throughout in the 4200m event.

Mahanadi is the first horse to carry the Pencarrow colours to victory in jumping race and has compiled an impressive record of three wins from four starts over hurdles for trainer Kevin Myers.

Winner of the Group 2 Concorde Handicap at Avondale and a very fast galloper. He won a total of eight races and was successful in Italy, winning theGroup 2 Rome Premio Melton.

A dashing career by Pencarrow’s Silver Eclipse (NZ) (Darci Brahma) provided the mare with her first black-type victory in the Listed Pegasus Stakes (1000m) at Riccarton Park. Trained by Steven Ramsay and Julia Ritchie, Silver Eclipse also placed in the Listed Levin Stakes (1200m) and the Listed Lightning Handicap (1200m). She has claimed five wins from 19 starts and two second placings.

Bred by Sir Peter Vela and Philip Vela, Silver Eclipse is out of Group 3 Gold Trail Stakes winner Zino Belle (NZ) (Success Express). Zino Belle is out of Group 2 winning mare Christiania Belle (NZ) (Sackford) who, in turn, is out of another Group 2-winning mare Finezza Belle (NZ) (Sir Tristram). This is also the family of Group 1 performers Winning Belle (NZ) (Zabeel) and Our Ella Belle (NZ) (Encosta de Lago).

Class three-year-old of 2008 in Singapore where he won the first two legs of the prestigious Triple Crown series, Spg-3 3YO Challenge (1st Leg) & Spg-2 Singapore TC 3YO Challenge (2nd Leg) and then finished a game second in the third leg. Trained by Laurie Laxon, he became one of the most consistant gallopers in Singapore. He won the Sgp-3 Singapore TC Stewards' Cup and Spg-2 EW Barker Trophy as well as being placed at black-type level a further seven times, including placings is the Spg-1 Singapore Derby and Spg-1 Singapore Gold Cup.

Million-dollar colt Don Garcia (NZ) (Danehill) started his career with a brilliant winning debut in the Bay Ford Hawke's Bay Premier Juvenile (800m) at Hastings. Before his opening race, the Mark Walker-trained gelding had made a big impression winning two trials at Te Teko and Taupo. In his second start, he went on to claim the Listed Wellesley Stakes (1000m) followed by a full 24-start career with four wins and four placings.

Don Garcia was purchased from Pencarrow’s 2005 Karaka Premier draft by Te Akau principal David Ellis for $1,050,000.

Pencarrow Stud yearling graduate Rhythm to Spare captured the Group 3 RA Lee Stakes in South Australia as a four-year-old, rising through the grades quickly. The son of Pins showed ability as a three-year-old, placing in the Group 3 Grand Prix Stakes in Brisbane.

Rhythm to Spare is a Pencarrow home-bred being out of Group 1 Avondale Cup runner-up Stanica (Zabeel) who carried the Pencarrow colours. Trainer Mike Moroney's Bloodstock Agent brother Paul purchased Rhythm to Spare for $100,000 at the 2011 Karaka Premier Sale.

Smart racemare who raced from the Sheila Laxon stable. The winner of seven races including the Group 3 Cuddle Stakes at Trentham and also finished runner-up in the Listed Anniversary Handicap.
