Encouraging Debut By Kudaam
23 April 2008
Pencarrow Stud owned-and-bred Kudaam made an encouraging debut effort at today's Matamata meeting running fourth after having to overcome a wide draw.
The Cape Cross x Shopping Spree filly, trained by Mark Walker, was clearly doing her best work at the finish of the 1200m event and produced a handy performance to finish up fourth, less than two lengths from the winner.
Studmaster Leon Casey said Kudaam's effort bodes well for her future racing career.
A full sister to Kudaam is currently being broken in.
