Superstar Star Dancer has sadly passed away of colic aged 20.

Bred by Pencarrow Stud, Star Dancer (Star Watch x Mouton Magic) was sold and entered the training barn of Bruce Wallace. The rest, as they say, is history. Star Dancer notched up 14 wins including three Group Ones and prize money in excess of $800,000, with his greatest victory in the Futurity Stakes beating Flying Spur.

After his illustrious racing career Star Dancer returned to Pencarrow Stud becoming a paddock mate for foals and yearlings. Such yearlings included Darci Brahma.

Pencarrow Stud retains many close relatives to Star Dancer including Vega Sicilia, Filante Etoile and Macchiato.

Star Dancer was a wonderful racehorse who will be sadly missed.
