Cartier 3YO Filly Award Boosts Pencarrow Family

Three-year-old filly Peeping Fawn (Danehill - Maryinsky) has further improved her family's acclaim by earning the 2007 Cartier Three-Year-Old Filly Award.

One of Danehill's most talented daughters, Peeping Fawn is out of Group 1 placed Sadler's Wells mare Maryinsky, the full sister to Pencarrow mare Silver and Roses (Sadler's Wells - Blush With Pride, Blushing Groom).

Peeping Fawn is the winner of four Group 1 contests under the guidance of Aidan O'Brien, for owners Michael Tabor and Sue Magnier. Her final victory of the season was by her biggest winning margin yet when she defeated Allegretto by four lengths in the G1 Darley Yorkshire Oaks at York.

Following a busy campaign this season Aidan O'Brien hopes Peeping Fawn - whose brother Thewayyouare recently won the G1 Criterium International at Saint-Cloud - will remian in training next season.

Blush With Pride has had outstanding success as a broodmare, also being the dam of Better Than Honour, the mother of triple Group 1 winner in the US, Rags to Riches (A.P Indy - Better Than Honour).

Silver and Roses currently has a yearling filly by Choisir that will be retained by the Stud to race and foaled a filly by Waikato Stud sire Pins this season. She is set to visit Pencarrow Stud-bred Darci Brahma.
