First Win For Concinnity
28 December 2008
Regally-bred Pencarrow Stud bred-and-owned four-year-old mare Concinnity (Rock Of Gibraltar x Anatomy) scored the first win of her racing career at Saturday's Taranaki race-meeting at New Plymouth.
Concinnity was one of four winners at the meeting for top jockey Michael Walker.
Pencarrow Stud has been a big supporter of Walker and Peter and Philip Vela are rapt that he has been able to make a successful comeback to race riding after a serious hunting accident.
Concinnity is one of two winning foals left by classy racemare Anatomy.
The other is Left Standing (by Stravinsky) who was a winner in Brisbane and stakes placed at Doomben when third in the Golden Stakes.
Anatomy, who is by Thunder Gulch, won five times with her successes including the Group 3 Lindauer Stakes at Ellerslie.
