Pencarrow Pair For Te Rapa
01 September 2008
The Pencarrow Stud bred-and-owned gallopers Abbey Way and Kudamm will be in action at Wednesday's Te Rapa meeting.
Lightly raced and very promising Abbey Way resumes from a lengthy spell in the Alexandra Racing Club 1200 (race 6, 2.20pm) and will be an interesting runner.
He last raced at Woodville on January 5 in a 1400m event - in which he finished third to Bruxaar. He is the winner of two races from only five starts.
Abbey Way has the services of Troy Harris.
Kudamm recorded a stylish win at the Taupo meeting on August 13. She came from well back in the field and unwound a magnificent finishing burst to get up to win over 1300m.
The additional 100m of Wednesday's race will not worry Kudamm who will be ridden by Opie Bosson.
