J'Adane Set For Return To Racing

Top quality Pencarrow Stud-bred mare J'Adane (Danehill x Affirmed Lane) is expected to make her much-awaited return to racing next month.

Last year's runner-up in the Group 1 Kelt Capital Stakes at Hastings, J'Adane - raced by Brendan and Jo Lindsay - is likely to make her comeback in the Gr III Cockram Stakes (1200m) for fillies and mares at Caulfield on August 16.

Trainer Russell Cameron, who is now in Melbourne after a stint in New Zealand, said the grey mare had not raced since the Kelt Stakes last year after which she was found to have bone chips in both her front knees.

J'Adane had the chips removed and is now back in work after a successful operation.
