Sarwatch delivered an impressive filly by promising sire Rip Van Winkle. This mare was the champion filly of her year and is a daughter another outstanding filly in Riverina Charm. This family has been a cornerstone of the stud for many years and includes other top class performers in Paolino and the very promising mare Persuasive.

Santangelo has continued a dominant run of fillies in the foaling paddock. She has delivered an attractive filly by established sire Darci Brahma. This mare has a yearling colt by Pins in the Pencarrow draft for 2016 and the stud has retained a two year old sister to this foal. A beautiful type of mare who won on six occassions, Santangelo provides an interesting cross with Lohnro and Storm Cat close up in her pedigree.

The first foal by Power arrived at Pencarrow when Madame Echezeaux delivered her brown colt on Sunday morning. A strong colt with a quality head and bright outlook he is quickly developing into an outstanding type. From the family of Ethereal and Darci Brahma he promises to attract attention when offered for sale at Karaka next year.

Reliable Man - TERROIR

Terroir has foaled a brown filly by first season sire Reliable Man. This daughter of Danehill won on four occasions and demonstrated ample ability. Her Rip van Winkle yearling colt was bought by Mick Price for $70,000 in January, and has shown early promise in Melbourne. Terroir will return to Reliable Man this season.

Love Connection is the dam of high class race mare Stanica who was placed at Group 1 level. Her son Rhythm to Spare is already a Group winner and contests the Sir Rupert Clark stakes at Group 1 level on Saturday.

Dance My Dance has foaled a strapping colt by leading sire Snitzel. Already the dam of Group winner Posavina this Sadler's Wells mare hails from a prolific American family. The cross with Snitzel has been eagerly anticipated and the resultant foal has attracted great interest.

Pavan has foaled an attractive filly by outstanding sire Darci Brahma. From one of Pencarrow's most established families Pavan has had a successful career both on the track and at stud. Her granddaughter Atacama remains one of the brightest hopes in the stud racing team, already a winner fresh up this season.

Rip van Winkle is a stallion that has produced some outstanding foals for Pencarrow Stud. Vega Sicilia has continued that trend with the arrival of her chestnut colt by the multiple Group 1 winning son of Galileo. This colt is a half-brother to group winner Valbuena and is from the immediate family of Star Dancer. Vega Sicilia returns to the same stallion this year.

Ethereal has produced her most impressive foal to date, a brown filly by Champion Sire O'Reilly. This filly weighed in at 72kg and will develop into an eye-catching individual. She has similar markings to her famous mother and we all hope she has inherited a least a fraction of that famous athletic ability. Ethereal will be bred to Savabeel this season.

Stanica closed the weekend foalings when delivering her upstanding filly by All Too Hard. This Zabeel mare was placed at Group 1 level before injury brought her career to a premature close. She has started her new role in fine style having already produced the Group winner Rythm to Spare.

Affirmed Lane is renowned for producing a quality foal. She has enhanced that reputation with her current offspring, a colt by High Chaparral. Her best produce so far is the talented mare J'dane who proved to be competitive at the highest level in both Australia and New Zealand, a nose second to Princess Coup in the Kelt Capital stakes being her most memorable performance.

Camellia got her breeding career off to a fine start when delivering her first foal, a filly by So You Think. This daughter of Redoute's Choice and Lafleur was unraced due to suffering an embolism, however she has a promising future in the broodmare paddock.

Darci Brahma - Barbadine (USA)

Barbadine has produced her second foal, a filly by leading sire Darci Brahma. This mare raced in the stud colours after being imported from England, winning on two occasions. Her first foal is a filly by Encosta de Lago who has been retained to join the stud racing team. Barbadine hails from a very strong family being a half-sister to Group winner Flying Childers and stakes winner Requinto, and a daughter of Champion Irish 2YO Damson.

Huluava has delivered a lovely filly by Golden Slipper winner Sepoy. A very impressive foal that has good size and bone. Sepoy offers an interesting cross for this family which has traditionally taken time to mature. Huluava won on four occasions and has made a promising start to her breeding career. She will be represented by a Darci Brahma gelding at NZB's Ready to Run Sale in November.

Marie Claire has foaled an imposing colt by recently deceased champion sire Commands. This colt is a very strong and correct individual who is sure to attract attention. His dam being a group winning O'Reilly mare from a dominant black type family. Marie Claire earned further distinction when being placed at group one level behind Penny Gem.

Guiseppina began an exciting weekend when delivering her first foal, a filly by Fastnet Rock. The winner of the Group 1 Telegraph Handicap, Guiseppina is a daughter of Battocchi, another prominent Group winner in the Pencarrow stud colours. This filly looks very athletic and should develop into an outstanding prospect.

Insouciant has delivered her fourth foal, an impressive colt by Ocean Park. Insouciant was the champion three-year-old filly of 2007 and has made a promising start to her breeding career. Her first foal Equanimity has won twice and promises more as she reaches full maturity. She also has a three-year-old filly by O'Reilly in work with Sheila Laxon. Pencarrow stud will offer a More Than Ready yearling filly from her at the Karaka Sales Series in January 2015.
